Russian painter Sergey Solomko

Solomko, Sergey Sergeyevich (1867 - 1928) - Russian painter, graphic artist, watercolorist. Born Sergey Solomko  in the family of General in St. Petersburg.  Sergey has worked for many magazines, illustrated the works of Pushkin, Lermontov, Gogol. According to figures by Sergey Solomko issued a series of postcards. Sergey Solomko masterfully painted watercolor historical and allegorical subjects, scenes from the life of the Boyar and illustrations of the Russian fairy tales. From 1910 he lived permanently in Paris.
